Guide to seller resources

We offer a wide variety of services to help you with listing, item management, shipping, payments, and safety.

Seller Resources − This page is a central location for tips, services, and resources, including ideas for what to sell, best practices, and category-specific strategies. Visit Seller Resources.

Seller education − Subjects include selling basics, creating compelling listings, using advanced selling tools, and marketing your eBay business. Visit the Seller Information Center.

Seller community − Selling-related discussion boards and groups can help you learn all the latest selling tips, tools, and resources to build a thriving eBay business. Discussion boards include Seller Central, Packaging & Shipping, and Photos/HTML. Visit the list of discussion boards. If you have a question, you can get help from other members at the Answer Center.

Researching your market − Learn about the types of research information you can gather, including critical information on buying and selling trends. Check out the subscription service Marketplace Research by Terapeak. Terapeak is also available as a Selling Manager application, and can be accessed through My eBay.

Trading Assistants − Want help selling your items on eBay? Trading Assistants sell your items on eBay for you, from listing the item and answering customer service inquiries, to collecting payment and shipping the item to the buyer. Visit the Trading Assistant page.

Transaction problems and rules for sellers − The Selling page of our Security Center tells you how to build buyer confidence and prevent transaction problems. Our Resolution Center helps you and your buyer resolve transaction problems, including if you don't receive payment from a buyer or if you need to cancel a transaction.

Resources for your business − The eBay Business page has many resources, best practices, and solutions to help business sellers start and grow their business on eBay.

Finding bulk inventory to resell – At Reseller Marketplace, manufacturers, liquidators, and wholesalers sell excess inventory in bulk to eBay PowerSellers looking for items to resell. If you're not yet a PowerSeller, you can find products in bulk by browsing our Wholesale Lots categories.

Selling globally – On the Tools for International Trading page, you can search, buy, and sell across the international eBay marketplace. You'll also find tools for global business tasks including time zone calculation, currency conversion, and language translation.

Electronic payment options – Sellers need to provide their buyers with at least one electronic payment method. We offer you these options: PayPal, Moneybookers, ProPay, Paymate, or merchant credit card. For details, see Selecting payment methods you'll accept.
